Youll be given autonomy to own the end-to-end experience on multiple projects and be encouraged to define how your projects should run. We follow a double diamond process, but the process and methods you use throughout are up to you. If youre comfortableacross the diamond, great, if youre brilliant at user research great, if you love running design sprints, also great.As a design thinker, well versed in human centred design, youll be working on transformational digital healthcare and wellbeing projects, alongside a rapidly growing, passionate and talented multi-disciplinary digital experience design team, made up of Userresearchers, product designers and content designers, who are focused on creating the best digital experiences for our customers. Alongside project work, youll help define the UX function & process within the wider digital team and show how UX & HCD can havemeaningful business impact. Youll want to advocate your craft both internally and externally and contribute to the wider design community.Youll help craft a vision of healthcare for the future, then work with the team to make it a reality. Youll also be a key contributor to core projects, like our design system, design tooling, research & insight repo and helping to embed CX metrics. Wereoffering you the opportunity to build a career as an individual contributor, with the ability to mentor and guide other team members whilst challenging the way healthcare is served digitally in the UK.What youll do* As a senior contributing member of the team, youll be hands on in health tech project work, involved in every stage of the digital experience design process with ownership and responsibility for the outcome.* Youll provide UX direction across my clients digital assets (App, Mobile, Desktop & connected devices) to drive a consistent approach to UX and a seamless experience for customers across products and business units* Youll mentor, coach and inspire other members of the experience design team.* Contribute to and improve our existing UX toolkit & playbook* Help build a re-usable framework and templates that other parts of the business can use to adopt a customer centric culture* Educate the business on how to adopt a customer centric culture* Define and contribute to the implementation of our digital design system, including helping to document UX research and insight to provide rationale for the teams design decisions* Showcase the UX team and our process at external design events and conferences.What youll bring* A senior User Experience designer from a product industry, with a proven track record of driving customer engagement and experience* Someone who is keen to dig in and transform a great healthcare company into a digital and customer centric one.* Accustomed to working in a complicated, heavily regulated (FCA) business* Experienced in human centred design, design thinking and the double diamond* Great experience and competency across of a wide range of UX methodologies and processes, design tools, design software, techniques - and know when to use them.* An inspirational design leader with fantastic communication skills * Someone who is able to tell a compelling story, demonstrate process and design thinking* Ability to facilitate collaboration and align senior stakeholders all with strong opinions.* Brilliant, confident presentation skills, comfortable presenting to large audiences up to board level* Strategic & diplomatic approach to problem solving* Analytical viewpoint with a focus on learning, experimenting and improving* A credible, collaborative, and open stakeholder manager* Very comfortable using collaborative digital tools such as Figma, Miro and Microsoft Teams.
