Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a rapidly growing Consultancy in Manchester, which is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join the award-winning team and help the business continue to move forward.You will be a key member of the planning team and the role will provide the opportunity to mentor junior planners alongside taking on your own workload and contributing to company growth by assisting in securing repeat business. You will manage a diverseportfolio of exciting projects across the Residential, Retail, Mixed Use & Regeneration, Affordable Housing, Care & Social, Hotels, Leisure & Logistics sectors.Role requirementsOur client is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual. You will have good planning stage project management skills and experience of working with other disciplines involved in the planning process. In addition, you will hold a strong understandingof development management procedures and working with local planning authorities through to the determination of planning applications is required.You should hold MRTPI and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be a true team player.
