Job Description

Senior Test AnalystSalary: Up to £45K + bonusLocation: 1 day a fortnight in the Manchester officeSector: Digital retail, techWith over 2,000 employees across the UK, our client is a dynamic FTSE 250 digital retail business that prides itself on having built up its technology output to the point where 91% of its product revenue comes from digital sources today!Driven by a desire to build a new financial services platform that allows more ownership and flexibility than other products on the market, the business has launched an exciting start-up division within the business and needs an experienced Test Analystto manage a host of testing-related tasks!With backing from a mega-corporation but the freedom and independence of a start-up, youll apply software quality standards, design/execute system and acceptance tests and design complex test cases and test scripts - perfect for a senior test figure lookingfor their next challenge.Key responsibilities:

  • Design optimise and deliver test plans & test cases
  • Ensure automated tests and frameworks are built for purpose and scale
  • Conduct reports on test activities, results, issues and risks
  • Ensure functional and non-functional requirements have sufficient acceptance criteria, user stories and business rules
  • Distribute new quality standards and update existing ones.
  • Communicate with delivery teams and ensure products meet thresholds for release
  • Play a key role in change control processes
What skills do you need
  • Experience creating test plans, scripts, and cases
  • Background executing tests in line with test plans
  • Comfortable with test progress and outcome reporting
  • Skilled with Grafana, Kibana
  • Background using performance testing tools (JMeter)
  • Skilled with AWS Device Farm/BrowserStack/Other
