Were seeking a future team member for the role of Sr. Specialist, Full-Stack Developer to join our Shared Services & Technology team. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be part office based and part remote. In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Contributing to and helping drive the delivery of fully functioning software to support our key strategic initiatives and product developments in an exciting space by:
    • Programming well designed, testable and efficient code using Agile Methodology.
    • Providing Analysis and Design Documentation
    • Conducting Peer Reviews for design, code for quality and debt, and performing merge requests
    • Managing and enhancing the CI/CD pipeline
    • Provides technical consulting to Technical and Business staff.
    • Applying Security and Privacy Principles
    • Demonstrating the BNY Mellon Values & Behaviors
    • Supports code builds, migrations, and deployments to all regions.
    • Manages support investigations and resolution management.
    • Playing a technical lead role and offering support and help to other team members.
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: Prior experience with using a specific application development toolkit and knowledge of front end and back end development languages and frameworks such as Java, Angular, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, Core Spring, Kafka, MongoDB, Docker, and Oracle. Significant years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans. The candidate must have priorlead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Extensive experience with developing and supporting mainframe applications required. Job holder must have broad experiencewith multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
