A that’s the way we’ve always done it’ attitude just won’t wash!Constantly looking at new ways to enhance our customers shopping experience, we’re embarking on a super exciting new digital journey including (but not limited to) Mobile, AI & ML, international website launches & new brand launches, and we’ve got key hires to make in our digital & technology team to ensure we achieve our goals.SO, WHAT TECH WILL I BE USINGThis is a hands-on mobile developer role with React-Native (JavaScript/TypeScript) being the technology of choice, however if a problem is best solved natively (Java/Objective-C) then we will dive in.Coming from a JavaScript background using SOLID and TDD principles, you’ll be responsible for the inception and integration of some core app features as well as the maintenance of the existing codebase. If you haven’t got hands on experience with React/React-Native but do have experience with comparable frameworks (Angular/Vue/etc.) that’s ok, we can give you the skills you need!Not only as a team but as individuals we have the responsibility of ensuring the codebase is functional, scalable and adaptable, this is an important aspect of the role, so you shouldn’t be afraid to give and receive constructive criticism.While on paper we have separate Web and App development teams, we work hand in hand with each other and as such you will receive exposure to the entire application stack.
