The CompanyTheyre a global team with a family feel who have never stood still. They are doing some epic things across many sectors, focusing recently on how data can transform the world we live in.They know the foundations of their success is built on their Engineers/tech team, keeping them motivated, knowledgeable, and free to make decisions- no red tape to contend with here with bundles of training on offer. They are truly obsessed with seeing their team succeed, with a clear progression roadmap in place youll know your career has no limits, being able to carve it out from the get-go.Culture - wise, theyre a laid-back bunch with incredible passion. The long and short of it is- they are normal people who really love tech and pushing the boundaries on it.They have lives outside of work, they take their holidays, nip off early to pick the kids up, knowing theyre trusted to make the time up without being micromanaged. They have air of intelligence about them, without big egos, using their knowledge to drive change, not to show off. They have HQs across the UK including Aberdeen and Newcastle if you want to go in when safe to do so, but they fully trust in you to work from home going forward if thats your preference. The Role / TechWere hiring across a couple of levels, Senior and Mid-Level, so if youre looking to lead teams or stay purely technical, we can make it work.Youll be joining a team of around 8, who are encouraged to be innovative, to try and test new tech, new methods of working, and new approaches to solving problems. Big enough to not feel the heat, but small enough to know your voice will be heard and your input will make a difference.Their new project youll be getting involved in is set to automate a process which will be used by the likes of NASA, increasing efficiency, ensuring safety of others, and of course- driving down costs. In full transparency, its going to be challenging- youll face new problems, and youll learn new things, but this should excite you rather than daunt you.Youll have a firm understanding of C# .NET, ideally with Angular, but another front-end framework would stand you in good stead. Experience with Azure would definitely make you stand out, but they can get you up to speed on this if youre willing to roll up your sleeves and learn. They have solid engineering principles in place too, using the likes of Azure DevOps and BDD in an Agile (Scrum) environment. They dont expect you to be a pro with it all, but you should have a hunger to learn and a drive to succeed.PackageSalary-wise were looking up to £60,000 p/a but may have some wiggle room for the right person.Benefits-wise have your standard stuff, with loads of extras:
