Senior Site Manager- Externals Salford Salary £competitive +package Do you want to be part of delivering a £200 million pound project Have you worked managing externals and Facades My client well established property developer and contractor. They specialise in large prestigious residential and student accommodation projects. Due a large project they are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their teams. The Senior Site Manager will be responsible for managing the externals of the project, facades, concrete frame. The Senior Site Manager they are looking for will have a stable work history and have a strong build background with proven experience in running projects from inception through to completion. Experience working for a main building contractor on ideally studentaccommodation or apartments projects with values of 30million plus. The project selected has a combined total value of £300 million. Broken into high rise towers, gym, retail & car park. Main Responsibilities for the position. • To demonstrate they have managed works on site, managing quality, safety and pace to ensure that the project and work is completed on time.• Work closely with the Senior Project manager/ Senior site manager / site manager to monitor and better the construction working programme.• To hold responsibility for tasks within the development / project as delegated by the Senior Site Manager / Senior Project Manager.• Produce and contribute to reports and progress updates in the correct format and in a timely manner.• Study, understand and maintain sight of drawings and plans.• Chair and lead weekly meetings (e.g. internal and sub-contractor progress meetings)• Undertake morning briefings with sub-contractors and communicate and record.• Maintain accurate records in relation to the project (e.g. communications, emails, minutes, reports etc.)• Understanding and produce method statements and risk assessments as required.• Produce short-term programmers that sit appropriately within the main programme.• Undertake quality assurance checks and take appropriate, timely actions to address any issues that are identified.• Liaise with quantity surveyors and subcontractors to identify, as early as possible, damages and time loss. Escalate and report these issues appropriately in line with agreed reporting lines and procedures.• To have used Field view for reporting company QA• Understanding of collaborative planning.• Be able to work as part of a team.My client pride themselves on building and designing buildings which leave a lasting impression on those who use the facilities.
