Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Regulatory Analyst on behalf of a leading Investment Bank based in Manchester. The Regulatory Analyst will be rewarded with a daily salary of £490 a day (PAYE) on an initial 6 month contract. The EMEA Controllers Change Team consists of a number of professionals based in Manchester, London and Brussels who are responsible for delivering an effective Change function supporting the EMEA Controllers group of the bank.The team is looking for Regulatory Oversight and Policy adviser engaged to work on the delivery of an Investment Firm regulatory initiative. The aim is to implement a New Prudential Regime proportionate for IFs. This legislation recognises the separation of the prudential treatment of IFs and credit institutions. The European Banking Authority (EBA) outlined its roadmap for the implementation of the new regulatory framework for IFs. It consulted the industry on its first set of regulatory deliverables on prudential, reporting, disclosures and remuneration requirements. In the context of Brexit, the final direction for a majority of the Banks firms will be defined by the FCA.The role holder will be providing consultative support in the interpretation of the IFPR rules to be finalised by the regulator(s). This would also enable the implementation of the strategic regulatory reporting platform (Axiom) where all the rules need to be validated both centrally and by the impacted IFs.Responsibilities by skills set required:Business Analysis:a.
