• Attends the required Product Backlog Grooming & Planning Meetings to contribute to the Creation of Effective User Stories.
• Comes up with Comprehensive Regression Suites for Applications & Systems.
• Solves Complex Automation Challenges spanning multiple technologies in a scalable & extensible manner with least amount of maintenance.
• Identifies potential risks to the project delivery and escalates them to the Senior QE management so that the team can make the appropriate course correction to meet the timelines.
• Helps resolves issues detected during testing.
• Provides QE support to Development, Business and Test teams on internal and external issues.
• Helps with getting down to the Root Cause of the Issues and works with the Engineering Teams to resolve and Validate the Fixes.
• Ensures Engineering Teams are adhering to all the Quality Controls in place. Also validates the complete traceability to the Requirements enabling the teams to be Audit Ready
• Continuously improves the Efficiency of the Automation using innovative technologies & thought process.
• Enables Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery for the Apps Automated.
• Responsible for manual and automated test script development from Business and functional requirements (test scenarios, test cases and auto scripts) • Responsible for test execution - manual and automated.
• Responsible for raising defects using JIRA, tracking, and retesting post fixes.
• Responsible for test documentation, reporting and closures as per Agile and Bank audit standards.

Requirements

• Must have Financial Domain Experience especially in the areas of Custody, Treasury, Corporate Trust,
• Corporate Payments, Post Trade Settlements, Broker Dealer Services, Securities
• Proficient with Object Oriented Programming Languages, Data Structures and Design Patterns - Preferably Java
• Proficient in Scripting Languages like Python, Ruby, Groovy and Excel Macro programming
• Proficient working in a Windows/Linux/Unix based Environment.
• Proficient in using open-source test automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, TestNG
• Proficient in using BDD frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave, SpecFlow and Serenity BDD
• Proficient in Testing Automation with Web Apps, APIs, Message Queues, DBs, SOAP UI
• Proficient in Testing Main Frames Systems, Win Forms Apps, Silverlight Apps, Messaging Queues, ETL Systems
