Job Description

Senior QA Tester - Manchester + Remote working options - £35kIf you are an experienced Manual Tester who enjoys a challenging and working in a fast-paced environment, why not come work for a Digital Ecommerce agency. They work with retailers of all size and ensure to deliver great customer satisfaction.If you are a QA Tester who can confidently take risks, solve problems, and likes a challenge, then this the role for you. Come and join a cross-functional team, testing customer projects to ensure they are delivered on time, to budget, and to agreed qualitystandards.Responsibilities will include:

  • Produce detailed test plans and reports to ensure a high standard of delivery
  • Ensure test risks and issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved within a timely manner
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality software products from the test environment through to live deployment
  • Work with developers to produce high-level test plans
  • Organise and manage system tests and full documentation prior to release
  • Participate in product and feature design reviews with fellow colleagues
What we are looking for:
  • Excellent knowledge and demonstrable experience of formal testing methodologies
  • Ability to adapt to short sprint cycles e.g. 2-4 weeks
  • Good understanding of the full software lifecycle from design to deployment
  • Ability to manage, prioritise, and switch between multiple tasks
  • Experience with Agile methodologies e.g. Scrum
  • Experience in an Ecommerce background (desirable)
