Job Description

AR12 – Service Project EngineerLocation: North West (Field Based)Salary: £Competitive, Laptop, Mobile Phone, Attendance Bonus and Company Car or Car AllowanceOverview:First Military Recruitment are seeking a Service Project Engineer who is able to work independently in liaising with customers to help guide them through the whole process from receipt of order to handover. Applications from ex-military candidates are actively encouraged, however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The replacement and re-commissioning of existing control systems.
  • The organisation and planning of the works.
  • The procurement of parts and services through the service department.
  • The installation, programming and commissioning of the new controls.
  • The instruction and supervision of additional trades or personnel.
  • The production or back engineering of software strategy
  • The modification of supervisor graphics.
  • The production of detailed reports including strategy drawings, test results and modification drawings.
  • Keeping the service co-ordinator or director up to date on their movements and location.
  • Advising the customer on potential benefits and savings from adapting the system.
  • Quoting for the replacement of faulty parts or items.
  • Carrying out routine health checks, service visits and breakdowns when required.
  • Carrying out energy audits.
  • Provide energy solutions and ideas.
  • Assist in the training of junior engineers and other staff
