The C3BIOTECH team are a world-leading group of industrial chemists, biologists, process engineers and delivery managers, working together to bring to market the production of clean and competitive fuels. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Scientistto expand their team as they embark on an exciting period of growth.The successful candidate will be an experienced Project Engineer who is passionate about designing, implementing, and delivering multiple projects. This exciting role will suit a highly motivated and ambitious individual who is looking for an opportunityto support the growth and expansion of a forward thinking company, leading the way in sustainable sustainable energy produciton.Responsibilities of the Senior Project Engineer include:- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor multiple and complex engineering projects- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, performance) and report regularly on project status- Monitor compliance to applicable industry codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications via appropriate H&S, O&M and NCR documentation- Financial control of projects; including procurement, invoice approval, variation handling, final account agreement, monthly cost to complete reviews- Review engineering deliverables (Massbalance, PFD, PnID, equipment specifications etc) and initiate appropriate corrective actionsRequired Skills and Qualifications:- Proven track record in the design, management and delivery of multiple, complex engineering projects - from concept to site commissioning and execution delivery- Familiar with all aspects of project engineering control mechanism- Ability to work autonomously and independently in a role that requires high levels of initiative and self drive- Calm under pressure with a flexible and pragmatic approach to problem solving- Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage and communicate with senior stakeholders both internally and externally- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) within an engineering discipline- Experienced user of project software tools (MS Excel, MS Project, MS Teams, CAD, MS Sharepoint)If you are interested in this Senior Project Engineer role, please apply with your most recent CV.Reed recruitment have been exclusively retained on this role.
