Job Description

Role: Senior Product ManagerCompany: Moneysupermarket GroupLocation: Manchester (3 days office, 2 days remote)At MoneySupermarket Group we pride ourselves on serving a powerful and important purpose: Helping Households Save Money.We are the UK’s largest digital comparison company, offering customers 60 different products from over 700 providers and operating via a vertical product model underpinned by four well known and trusted brands: MoneySupermarket, MoneySavingExpert, Travelsupermarket and Decision Tech.Our Product environmentWe operate a LEAN product process, solving complex user and business problems; utilising data through hypothesis driven learnings to make optimal and critical decisions that deliver true customer and business value.We are outcome focussed, where success is measured by delivering value to our customers and the business over just delivering stuff.We A/B test everything we put out, and we validate our hypothesis through riskiest assumption testing, and iteration; as we look to innovate towards the next generation of price comparison products across the entire value chain.We have lots of ideas already, but we are looking for the right person to ideate further and deliver value to help drive us forward.We stick to our product principles

  • Whats the roleWe’re offering you the chance to join an empowering, product driven business with the environment to succeed, where you’ll be given both the freedom and accountability to own the shape and direction of your product.
  • Help drive delivery of the overarching strategic vision of MoneySupermarket Group within your own product area
  • Work closely with the Product Leadership and peers to define strategic direction and compelling product initiatives for your product
  • Own the objectives and KPIs for the product, working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure that the success and value of the product can be measured
  • Drive and evolve the end-to-end product process, helping your squads to deliver with velocity, cadence and efficiency
  • Be the voice of the customer for the business: take user insight to identify the biggest customer problems and opportunities
  • Deliver the plan that meets the strategic and tactical needs of the business, through a combination of both iterative conversion boosting, and step-change innovative features and user journeys
  • Drive innovative, market-leading solutions to consumer problems
  • Be responsible for the overall performance and KPIs of the product/s and vertical/s within their remit
  • Lead the cross functional team across UX, data and tech, ensuring the optimal LEAN delivery of items
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with commercial, marketing, partnership and compliance teams
  • What do you need to excel in this role­­
  • Demonstrable success and experience in a product management role in a comparable digital technology/ecommerce environment
  • A full stack’ product person, with experience and expertise across the e2e product lifecycle (strategy, UX, data analysis & delivery)
  • Is outcome focussed and can demonstrate they have added value to both the customer and business
  • Ability to set-up and run a continuous Test & Learn iterative process
  • Skilled in creating wireframes and working with UX/UI in developing them into items that meet the needs of the customers
  • Can engage and lead a high performing and outcome focussed cross functional team
  • Is wholeheartedly data focussed with proven experience at measuring and gathering insight from KPIs and funnel metrics at a macro and micro level
  • Huge bias for action, willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done, no matter what the obstacles
  • Personable, but with the credibility and personality to influence others.
  • A natural collaborator, able to work fluidly with multiple stakeholders across technology, commercial and marketing and bring together their different viewpoints into a cohesive vision for the product
  • A deep and logical thinker, with the ability shape the direction of Product.
  • Able to balance commercial priorities with progressing against a longer term strategic vision
  • Able to see around corners and anticipate problems before they arise
