We are currently representing a highly respected global insurer with a universally recognised brand. Based from prestigious city centre offices, their Manchester operation focuses on delivering corporate insurance solutions via a diverse panel of brokers throughout the Northern region.To support ongoing growth, they are keen to recruit a development focused Senior Underwriter whose focus will be placed on Professional Indemnity business. Responsibilities of the role will be varied, however broadly speaking you will be required to manage and develop an account covering the North of the UK. Working collaboratively with a small but highly specialised team, you will be responsible for dealing with premiums typically in the region of £10,000 to £100,000, writing quality business across a broad range of sectors and trades.To apply you must have solid PI underwriting experience along with a network of established broker relationships. Dealing with a diverse panel of brokers, comprising nationals and independents you will demonstrate the ability to develop effective relations at senior level ensuring repeat business and growth of the account.Working for a global market leader you will receive a strong salary along with excellent benefits package.
