Job Description

Our Purpose – building better financial futures.The role We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Partner Manager, Oversight. This role will be based at our Manchester office with some home working. Due to the current Pandemic this will be initially home based only.The Senior Partner Manager, Oversight is responsible for improving the high standards of all BaU and ad-hoc Strategies rolled out across Arrow’s Commercial and Asset Management (CAM) business function. You will be responsible for guiding all teams and external Partners involved in the design and review of processes, controls, quality assurance, oversight, and customer treatment throughout the entire lifecycle and the key decision points of all our Portfolios of consumer credit.Responsibilities within the role will include:

  • Ensure optimal strategies and processes are in place for all aspects of our end-to-end servicing responsibilities by defining, reviewing, or improving the existing strategies, selection criteria, letter suites and processes
  • Provide guidance and best practice on: oversight, controls, policies, standards, frameworks, assurance, calibration, remedial work, servicing agreements, risk and incident management, agent training, customer impact, and customer-centric MI
  • Ensure the teams meet the Arrow standards, policies, regulations, and follow a consistent approach
  • Guide teams on most appropriate strategies for exceptional situations: on-boarding, remediation, termination, migration, reconciliation
  • Fully understand and convey the impact of any advice given from a customer, operational, regulatory, and commercial perspective
  • Work with internal compliance and change teams, to guide operational teams to ensure that any changes to regulations are correctly rolled across all affected operations
  • Document and obtain approval for recommended approaches from internal stakeholders Evidence effectiveness through customer KPI and MI. Summarise and present to internal, external, client, and regulator senior stakeholders
  • Lead on interactions with auditors to ensure effective reviews of operations and prompt resolutions (2nd line/3rd line/Thematic/External/Clients/FCA).
  • To be successful in the role you will have the following skills:
  • Experience of working in Financial Services
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment e.g. FCA, CONC, MCOB, SYSC, conduct risk
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and an empathetic approach
  • Experience dealing with Vulnerable customers’ accounts
  • Strong communicator and negotiator with positive influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to anticipate risks and make an informed judgement on the appropriate course of action
  • Adept at managing competing priorities with challenging deadlines
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and ever evolving organisation
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly pressurised environment and encourage others to follow their lead
  • Experience of dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders
