Job Description

Senior Optimisation Strategist - Digital Agency - £32,000 - (Manchester or leeds)Whether you have a background in CRO and A/B testing, User Research, UX Design, Ecommerce trading, Digital Marketing or Data analysis, if you want to gain experience working for a leading agency and super-charge your career then please don’t hesitate to apply.The business are a marketing optimisation agency that offer CRO, UX Redesigns, Data gathering and Data analysis to some of the UK’s top companies. They are growing their CRO department and are looking for people to lead CRO and UX projects for clients such as across sports, retail, ecommerce, travel, and more.Role Purpose:As a Senior Optimisation Strategist they are looking for somebody to work across multiple client accounts so you will need to be comfortable building relationships with clients, and have experience in project management. You will support Senior Managers on Tier 1 clients, ensuring that day to day activity is running smoothly and driving value for clients. This will give you a hands-on opportunity to learn from some of the most talented Optimisation Managers working in digital. When ready, you will also lead your own client accounts, where you can develop your own strategies to improve client performance.You will be part of the team that determines what methods to use and what solutions to utilise to improve website performance. This could be through A/B testing, a page/journey redesign, optimising the acquisition journey, site speed optimisation, or any alternatives you deem relevant.You will have support from other members of the team including other Strategists, Data Analysts, UX Researchers, Designers and Developers. This means you can call on a wider pool of expertise and share ideas with others, to provide the best results and continue your development in a way not available anywhere else.The successful candidate will need to be able to work on multiple client optimisation programmes at the same time so the following skillsets are required:

  • Passionate about customer behaviour, optimising online experiences and an interest in wider digital marketing activity
  • A strong knowledge of CRO or UX principles, and the ability to create and deliver a strategy for improving an online experience
  • Ability to manage projects, work to timelines and work collaboratively with wider team such as design, dev, data insights etc.
  • Confidence with building stakeholder relationships and leading meetings/calls
  • The ability to multi-task and delegate to the wider team
  • They do not expect candidates to have experience in all things digital marketing, UX and CRO. They look for people that have relevant experience and a hunger to learn and develop. If you have experience in one or more of these disciplines, then we would be interested in speaking with you
  • Experience of using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • The ability to analyse data, uncover insights and trends, and the ability to communicate these to stakeholders with varying experience with data analysis
  • The capability to conduct various research methodologies such as polls/surveys, remote research, moderated research, guerrilla research, customer interviews etc.
  • Knowledge of website management, either ecommerce trading, content creation or lead generation
  • Awareness of UX design principles
