Job Description

Job Title:Senior Operations Financial Analyst (Hybrid)Salary:50-62k + bonusLocation:ManchesterWorking pattern:Monday to Friday, 3 days in office/2 days home25 days holidaysAre you ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, do you have 1-2 years Ops experience and have you worked on SAP Oracle Do you want to take up a new challenge within a growing and successful business The Recruitment Co. are currently supporting one of our keyclients and this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Job Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of finance manufacturing operations including standard cost setting and understanding of manufacturing variances
  • Cost accounting experience in ERP systems - Ability to review standard costs in the systems and run reports to respond to ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Highly proficient in Excel with experience in dealing with financial models and analysis with the ability to work through high volumes of data.
Your day-to-day tasks will be:
  • Lead continuous improvement on internal processes and reporting.
  • Lead the accounting close process for inventory sub-ledgers every month.
  • Inventory SOX lead for the entities in scope, ensuring SOX narratives are up to date and evidence of the performance of controls is maintained.
  • Lead the quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and 5-year strategy plan process to set targets for the leadership team
