Job Description

An ecommerce company based in Manchester are looking for a Senior Node Developer to join a greenfield project team working on a new financial services platform. The team operate as an independent start-up, within an established organisation which has beentrading for over 100 years.Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, coding, verifying, testing, documenting, amending and refactoring complex programs/scripts and integration software services.
  • Contributing to the selection of the software development methods, tools and techniques.
  • Applying agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes.
  • Designing complex software applications, components and modules.
  • Using approved tools and techniques for specific deployment activities.
  • Following agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications.
  • Using application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
The successful candidate will have a background in Javascript/Typescript development with experience of Node serverless microservices. You will need experience of AWS serverless development and any experience with terraform would be advantageous.
