  • Industry: Digital Agency (news, TV, and radio) �
  • Salary + Benefits: £75k DOE + Bonus
  • Approach: Hybrid Remote (1 x week in the Manchester office or 1 x fortnightly in London)

A leading News/TV powerhouse is looking for Mid and Senior level Android Developers to help them build greenfield projects and migrate their codebase.You’ll be situated in an award-winning Digital Agency in Altrincham, who are known for their high quality and reputable work within the industry.After multiple successful project wins, the business is scaling their mobile development team as the next phase of their impressive company growth.An ideal candidate will be demonstrable experience of IOS Development, with an array of published apps. An ideal candidate will understand the value of and are a practitioner of TDD/BDD and DevOps, and have demonstrable experience with Swift and Objective-C.You’ll also have a desire to learn more about React Native development.ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be a pivotal member of a growing team, owning a number of your own projects/tickets, and You’ll have ownership of everything you do and Work on apps/features used by hundreds of thousands of users, helping provide news and entertainment to the world
  • Assist with Mobile Development projects, from architecture and security to performance
  • Craft well written and testable code
  • Carry out continuous improvement
  • Be involved with the technical direction as well as day to day coding standards/best practices
  • Mentor your peers, act as a source of technical expertise
  • Participate in strategic conversations and present to internal teams
Tech
  • iOS design patterns, including MVC, MVVM and VIPER
  • SOLID design principles
  • Swift Swift UI
  • Dependency management with Cocoapods
  • Unit testing with XCTest
  • UI automation testing with XCUITest
  • Build automation with Fastlane
  • React Native would be a bonus
  • Continuous Integration (CircleCI would be a bonus)
