Senior Mechanical EngineerManchester City CentreSalary: £40,000 to £50,000Ref: 27185This is a rare opportunity to join a growing Building Services consultants in Manchester who are very much going places. They are keen for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them on a journey which started a few years ago and they have grown to offer abrilliant proposition for candidates who join at this level.The firm have been operational for more than 20 years, but under relatively speaking fairly new ownership and direction they are now going through a period of significant investment and expansion which saw them set up in Manchester over 3 years ago and it hasgrown into a strong player in the industry. The office is in a very trendy part of town with some excellent amenities close by plenty of construction projects and set to become a vibrant and busy area of the city centre. They are a very proactive company and are investing considerable time and significantexpertise into Manchester.Their proposition is strong because your career path beyond Senior can take different routes. It can head in a direction of work winning or delivery focussed, and each comes with its own perks. Work winning is an attractive route for someone with a flare forbusiness development and looking after clients.The Manchester office has since grown to a team of 8 and they need a Senior Manchester Engineer to join the engineering team. The successful candidate for this role with be working at a senior level currently. You will be expected to run projects and yoursupport network will be in Manchester and from the 20+ team in their North East Office in Yorkshire. They have a strong brand in the Building Services sector in the North East already, their reputation organically developed into the Manchester market and thereforethey already have excellent relationships with a number of large clients in the North West. They have already secured plenty of smaller works and a large framework agreement is close to completion.Ideally you will have some experience of working with a Building Services contractor and have worked to RIBA stage 1 to 5 within previous roles and have a good knowledge of Industrial projects. Knowledge of Autocad, Navisworks, Hevacomp and Revit is essential.It is not essential, but it is preferred that you have reached Chartered status with CIBSE or another recognised engineering board. Ideally you will be qualified within Building Services, and we are accepting applications from ONC/HNC qualified engineers also.
