Job Description

Our client are a fast growth business.They are now seeking an outgoing, fun, and hardworking Marketing Executive to join their fast-growing teamYoull be an integral member of the E-commerce team and will play a key part in delivering an objective-driven marketing plan, to help grow the business and shape the brand.Youll provide support across the full range of marketing activities, including developing digital and print collateral, producing weekly email campaigns, briefing projects, planning promotions, supporting social media activity, and communicating marketingplans and performance to relevant departments.This is a huge opportunity for you to build a successful marketing career and make a big impact from day one.Main responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head of Marketing, youll work as part of a close-knit team, creating outstanding multi-channel marketing content that engages audiences, drives orders, encourages repeat business, generates brand awareness, and improves marketing success.
  • Work in close collaboration with designers to create eye-catching, engaging digital assets for use across a variety of platforms including social media, email marketing, promotions, and web- ensuring all content accurately reflects brand and values.
  • Help to create and manage the annual promotional calendar, planning and executing promotions that increase sales, AOV, retention, and acquisition. Ensure all supporting materials are in place, including promo codes, emails, landing pages, website bannersetc.
  • Help to create and manage the annual email marketing calendar, delivering diverse and effective email campaigns that drive sales and increase conversion rate. Youll strive to improve our open and click-through rates and conduct regular analysis on theperformance of the email channel, campaigns, and the creative used
  • Support the development and delivery of regular offline campaigns. Ensure key products, content and marketing collateral are relevant, effective, accurate and on brand.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and designers to plan and deliver the weekly content schedule for social media. Analyse and measure all activity with a view to continually increase followers, engagement, and ROI through all social media channels.
  • Develop customer and product knowledge as a hands-on member of a tight-knit team, to ensure customer satisfaction at every level. Take part in customer-centric communications to promote long-term and strategic customer loyalty through improvements to marketingactivities.
  • Take a data-driven approach to measure, analyse, and report on the performance of all marketing activities against agreed-upon metrics. Create an action plan of quick-wins and strategic initiatives based on a test and learn approach to enhance performance.Identify new audience selections and segments to further optimise marketing programmes.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research to ensure activity is in line with industry standards and trends. Research customer demographic gap analysis in order to identify growth areas for the brand.
Essential skills
  • Advanced user of email platforms (preferably MailChimp) with experience of building emails and campaigns, list management, segmentation, scheduling, and A/B testing.
  • Results-oriented with good analytical skills. The ability to analyse, evaluate, and report on the performance of digital marketing activities, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Knowledge of web/email/social analytics packages and website optimisation tools (we use Google Analytics, MailChimp, SEM Rush, Magento, Google Optimize, Crazy Egg, Google Data Studio, Buffer).
  • Experience using web CMS systems like Magento, WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace (we use Magento 2).
  • Experience of delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns, within a cross-functional team.
  • Experience of working with brand guidelines and developing brand assets and collateral.
  • Good copywriting abilities, with consideration to specific target audiences.
  • Confident handling Microsoft Office packages like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Google Docs equivalents.
Desirable skills
  • Experience using design tools like Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, Canva etc.
  • Knowledge of Magento administration, especially promotion codes and landing pages set-up.
Personal skills
  • A minimum of 3 years marketing experience and/or relevant qualification in a marketing or business-related field.
  • Excellent verbal/interpersonal and written communication skills, with experience of working within a creative, cross-functional team.
  • Able to work under pressure to deadlines and multitask effectively, taking accountability for your own work.
  • Ability to interpret and develop internal briefs and articulate concepts and ideas to the wider team.
  • Exceptional eye for detail, layout, and typography, and passionate about delivering high quality work.
  • Thinks innovatively and proactively about the future of the brand and takes responsibility to identify new areas and opportunities.
