You will be accountable for the delivery of best in class corporate real estate services, including property management services and proactive asset management services for BTs global property portfolio , including acquisitions, disposals of real estateassets and all professional matters such as dilapidation claims, rent reviews, lease renewals, rights to light , compulsory purchase and town planning matters.Client DetailsBT has a key role in British society, fostering change and leading technology innovation. • Accountable for the delivery of best in class corporate real estate services across a diverse portfolio including offices, telephone exchanges, depots and data centres, including the payment of rent to third party landlords and collection of rents and servicecharges from external tenants.
• Provide expert advice in terms of town planning to the P&FS team and senior stakeholders across the business.
• Delivery of professional services to the portfolio through proactive management of third party suppliers as appropriate.
• Strategically manage property development and town planning activities to deliver significant additional value to BTs land holdings globally.
• Develop and implement strategic solutions to minimise BTs exposure to real estate costs through a proactive asset management programme.
• Build a high performing culture through empowering, coaching and developing a team of property professionals to deliver against the agreed medium term plan and in year targets.

Profile

• Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent with at least 10 years PQE.
• Strong commercial acumen and influencing skills.
• Strong financial control and reporting capabilities.
• Direct and relevant experience of delivering cost transformation activities within a complex portfolio environment.
• Experience of managing high performing teams with a strong focus on performance management.
• Significant Corporate Real Estate /Asset management advisor experience gained in a complex multi site environment.
• Significant experience in Landlord & Tenant matters.
