Job Description

Our Award winning client currently is recruiting for Senior Java Engineers to join their growing Government business unit. As a Java Engineer you will be helping to develop and deliver next generation communication and intelligence solutions for a wide rangeof clients such as law enforcement agencies, telecommunications companies and compliance agencies.Minimum Senior Java Engineer requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years as a professional Java developer
  • Experience writing tests for existing and new code to ensure compatibility and stability
  • Experience with different types of source control (preferably Git), be familiar with continuous integration, test-driven development and be prepared to use agile development techniques to incrementally deliver working software.
  • Must work well in small teams and pride themselves in the quality job they do
Senior Java Engineer Desirable:
  • Industry experience of any of the following technologies/skills would be beneficial, but not required:
  • AngularJS / React JS
  • Elasticsearch
  • Docker
  • Microservice Architecture
  • Spring
  • Apache Maven
  • Apache Hadoop, Kafka or Camel.
  • Javascript/JQuery/HTML
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Senior Java Engineer Package:
  • £50k - £78k (experience dependant)
  • Car allowence of up to £6,000
