Senior IT Continuity Planner | Manchester | Hybrid | £65k + bonusI am working with a growing enterprise organisation who are operating at the forefront of their industry and are now seeking an exceptional Senior IT Services Continuity Planner to join our clients technology team. You will be responsible for developing,maintaining and testing their IT Service Continuity programme.This is a critical role, and in this position you will coordinate continuity planning activities, lead projects, and mentor junior staff. Youll build relationships across the business to deliver an outstanding continuity programme that supports their resiliencestrategy.We need someone passionate about continuity planning and experienced in managing complex programmes. Youll undertake all aspects of the continuity lifecycle from writing plans to validating exercises. With excellent communication skills, youll liaise betweentechnical and non-technical teams to gather requirements and manage expectations.Our client offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tech and implement industry best practices. Youll focus on essential deliverables like recovery processes, RTOs and RPOs. To be successful in this role, you will need to bring a wide range of skillsand experience with you. You will need demonstrable experienceYou should have demonstrable project management abilities, the ability to work as part of a wider team, or on your own when the role requires. Youll be able to manage and persuade stakeholders, liaise with technical and non-technical teams alike. You willneed to have come from a large company as you will be working alongside enterprise-scale tech and working with ITIL, incident and problem management, and ensuring that their IT Service Continuity plans are best-in-class.Your day-to-day role will see you creating and managing plans, testing, reviewing, and integrating plans. You will be developing data centre recovery plans, and mentoring staff on continuity standards and strategy.This role will see you about the business ensuring plans and processes are in place. Youll need to be outgoing, methodical, and have a strong technical background.In return, you will get a salary of up to £65k, plus a bonus of 30%, hybrid working, and many more great benefits.
