Senior IT Consultant - Healthcare - £75kManchester - Flexible workingRobert Walters are working with an innovative & growing solution based technology business that is helping to transform the quality of healthcare across the globe.To ensure they can continue to deliver cutting edge solutions they are looking to add a Senior IT Consultant who will act as the focal point for technical and complex IT solutions with their expanding client base.Senior IT Consultant - Healthcare - £75kManchester - Flexible workingRobert Walters are working with an innovative & growing solution based technology business that is helping to transform the quality of healthcare across the globe.To ensure they can continue to deliver cutting edge solutions they are looking to add a Senior IT Consultant who will act as the focal point for technical and complex IT solutions with their expanding client base.This is an opportunity to work with a business that is bringing advanced software & hardware solutions to market that are directly helping patients across the globe.As an IT Consultant you will have solid experience in Pre & Post sales roles, able to communicate with a wide range of customers and be passionate about the healthcare sector.The Role:

  • Use your technical skills to upskill on the business solutions and products so you can effectively work with the customer base.
  • Meet with and understand customer IT requirements and respond with according business solution.
  • Act as a focal point for any high level or complex IT queries or discussions.
  • Manage relationships effectively and understand client requirements.
  • Install and upgrade IT solutions for customers (on & off site).
  • Work closely with commercial teams in creating solution and architectural level presentations.
  • Consult on technical issues from pre and post sales perspectives.
  • Travel as and when needed to clients across the UK (occasional travel in Europe).
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of IT technologies (Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, IT infrastructure) and architecture (network, cybersecurity, cloud architecture, data intelligence/analytics, database)
  • Demonstrable experience in IT presales or solution based work.
  • Experience in large projects, including the Request for Tender processes.
  • Proven experience dealing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
  • Experience in Healthcare IT technologies, Pharmacy or clinical systems (EMR, EHR, EPMA etc), knowledge of healthcare standards (IHE profiles, HL7, FHIR etc), workflows and global healthcare environment.
