Senior Infrastructure Engineer -IAM to £65k + packageNetworking, Cisco, VMWare, AWS, AD /LDS, Azure AD, MIM, Shibboleth, SQLInfrastructure Engineer -Identity Access ManagementDo you have a background in supporting major Infrastructure technology - around Networking, Desktop and VMWare, Security & Identity Operations Do you have a broad technical skill set but looking to be re-trained in new technologies and looking for a newchallengeAre you passionate about technology, with a strong customer service ethos, wanting to work with emerging technologies and support risk and issue management leading to operation efficiency of the department and servicesInfrastructure Engineer - About the role:The Infrastructure Engineer/Analyst role will be office based in their Manchester office a couple of days per week and the rest of the time working remotely from home, working as part of a small team, provide effective solutions to escalated technical issues,and provide a high level of technical expertise to the business.You will provide new technical solutions ensuring effective working across the full range of services provided by the business and liaise with other engineers and departments.You will work across a variety of technical skills including VMWare, Cisco, Wins Server, AD/LDS, Azure AD, MIM, Shibboleth, AWS, PowerShellA key element of the role will be supporting / identifying risk and issue management, which may lead to a failure of operational processes and procedures within the organisation.Infrastructure Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

1. Support a multi-site technical environment including LAN, WAN, Microsoft, VMWare, Network, Cloud, and desktop applications.
2. Support and promote the implementation of infrastructure and wider ISDS processes, across different departments
3. Support Service management activities including design, configuration, implementation, and efficient process integration
4. Utilise a variety of technical skills including AD/ LDS, Azure AD, MIM, AWS, Shibboleth and more
5. Work on strategic projects - lead on infrastructure related projects to match operational objectives
6. Develop and maintain successful relationships with application business and technical owners
7. Promote and develop best practice and collaborative working across the infrastructure department
8. Proactively monitor infrastructure systems to identify issues prior to them causing issues which impact users of the services within the organisation
9. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and sector trends, making any recommendations of change to senior management

Infrastructure Engineer - Essential Technical Skills:Candidates must have some exposure to most of the technologies listed below:

• Network/Security Technologies
• VMWare - some level of understanding,
• Cloud skills - AWS, Azure AD, AD/ LDS, Shibboleth, MIM, PowerShell
• Networking -TCP/IP, Switches, Routers, Wireless Networks, Firewalls
• Cisco exposure ( desirable)
• Information Security ( desirable)
• O365 ( desirable)

Infrastructure Engineer/Analyst - Benefits (Negotiable)

• Basic salary of up to £50k on offer depending on experience
