Robert Walters are excited to be representing a successful Manchester based PLC as they look to appoint a dynamic, high calibre technical finance professional to join their impressive finance team. This role has come about due to a promotion & reports directlyinto the CFO, providing oversight of a c£100m revenue Group.The role:* Collation of the Monthly Management Information Packs and support in preparation of the Monthly Board Papers.* Handling P&Ls, balance sheet, cash flow position and other Group KPIs. * Full management of this process ensuring required timescales and deadlines are adhered to and communicated internally.* Preparation of Group PLC accounts under IFRS and statutory accounts.* Input to the Front end of the Annual Report and Accounts and Investor Presentations in relation to disclosed financial information; * Key point of contact with Group auditors, including project management of timetable, ensuring local finance teams are providing deliverables on a timely basis and deadlines are being met.* Ongoing group accounting for a number of companies, including month end reconciliations to support balance sheet items.* Perform an Internal Audit function to cover testing of controls.Essential experience:* Fully ACA qualified accountant (big 4 preferable).* A strong IFRS & technical accounting knowledge.* Confident, assertive with excellent communication skills.* Advanced Excel skills. * High energy, ambition, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Either a manager from a big 4 firm or audit trained with experience in a similar role in industry.Get in touch with Jonathan Kerr at Robert Walters directly for further details.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
