Job Description

A leading IT Consultancy are looking to add a highly skilled .NET Developer to their collaborative team as they have recently secured a large amount of innovate project work. You will have the option to work in a hybrid environment in their office in Manchester,or fully remote.Client DetailsMichael Page is supporting a leading IT Consultancy in their search for a Senior .NET Developer as they have recently secured a large contract with an established client in the transport industry.Description

  • Maintain and develop our finance/investment systems and applications
  • Enhance core systems to improve business processes - end to end delivery of project and SDLC
  • Improve integration between core business systems and applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of agile methodology
  • Good communication skills and happy to liase with external/internal stakeholders
Tech: .NET/ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI and strong C# programming skills. Sitecore development.Profile
  • Possess some commercial experience using C#/.NET
  • Collaborative approach to software engineering
  • Writing code and tuning with MS SQL Server
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of software development principles, including; architecture, design, abstraction, data structures and design, relevant low-level architecture, development processes / practices, deployment techniques, documentation, testing and automation.
Your weapons of choice will include:
  • C#, .NET, JavaScript
  • React or Angular development
  • Azure or AWS
  • JavaScript (ES6)/ Typescript, React.JS
  • Markup languages such as HTML5, CSS
  • Microsoft SQL Server
