Job Description

Senior Finance Administrator Location: Manchester/ working remotely Salary: circa £25,000- £30,000 dependant on experience Temporary position- circa 3 monthsOur client has a requirement for a strong, analytical Senior Finance Administrator, with SAP experience, to join a purchasing team for circa 3 months due to additional workload that the company is experiencing post Brexit.Working remotely and reporting into the European Procurement Accountant, your duties will include:

  • Assist with both imports data and RMC reporting data (price and projects). This will vary month by month, depending on data volume.
  • Issue some price impacts and collect assumptions from CL and enter both into the RMC reporting database.
  • Send Finance project summary spreadsheets for financial validation and update results in the common drive.
  • As required enter import data needed for some materials as per the single tariff schedule headings.
  • Check post clearance MSS imports data and documentation (SAD, Airway Bill/or BOL and the Original invoice and packing list) and verify accuracy of customs declarations.
  • Double check if the correct customs entries in the C88 have been made for the 10 digits tariff code, country of origin, CPC code, customs value and customs duty have been applied correctly. (this will also be used to assess potential duty reclaims and a priority list will be created for this task)
  • Identify errors and areas of improvement to address discrepancies and improve data efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis and discuss.
