Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Facilities Manager Northwest England on a permanent basis. Ideally you will be based along the M62 corridor between Liverpool and Manchester.This is a senior leadership role suitable for a strong communicator, with sound technical knowledge and a strong track record in delivering a total facilities management service. A background in a Clientside or Contractor role is fine, with minimum budgetresponsibility of over £5m per annum with clear evidence of focusing on exceptional standards and service.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious professional who wishes to progress with leading organanisation and embraces changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Requirements:

  • Experience of managing building services for a large corporate organisation
  • Proven ability to work independently and influence across the business and support functions
  • Experience of working with landlords and tenants
  • Proven change management skills
  • Proven track record in managing contracts
  • Strong team management skills, with ability to lead and energise colleagues
  • An understanding of the importance of budgetary control
  • The ability to conduct research to remain current with changes in legislation and knowledgeable around best practice
  • The ability to undertake public speaking events, present technical information to a non-technical audience and communicate clearly at all levels
  • Professional membership of relevant institution such as IWFM or RICS
  • NEBOSH/IOSH Qualified or equivalent
  • Experience of managing to ISO14001, ISO50001, and ISO45001
