Job Description

Senior Electrical Design Engineer - ManchesterRef: DB1235Competitive Salary Plus BenefitsA brilliant opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary building services and environmental solutions consultancy.To be considered for this Senior Electrical Design Engineer role you will have:

  • A minimum of three years relevant industry experience
  • A Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering degree, or similar
  • Proficient with AutoCAD software
  • Ability to produce complex designs
  • Chartered status through IET and/or CIBSE (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to produce complex calculations and drawings
  • Brilliant time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient with softwares such as: Dialux, Relux, Revit, and Amtech (Desirable)
Working as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will:
  • Manage residential projects from conception through to completion
  • Liaise with engineers and the environmental team
  • Produce complex calculations, drawings, and designs
  • Be responsible for the design and specification of electrical building services systems
  • Complete surveys, reports, and inspections
  • Support with business development and possess market awareness
