Job Description

Focus 5 Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Digital Product Owner to join a growing Digital Agency who specialises in Mobile App and Web Application builds. Working in this established agency who have achieved year on year growth over the last 10 years bynaturally winning new clients through excellent work, this represents a fantastic opportunity to join them as they look to continue growth to the next level.As a result of organic growth, we are looking for a flexible, organised, proactive, skilled and passionate Senior Product Owner to join our rapidly growing team. They work closely with the internal delivery team and deliver highly effective customer engagements to drive solutions for our clients that provide significant businessresults.Responsibilities of a Senior Digital Product Owner

  • Have the ability to work with our clients to elicit requirements and develop elegant solutions to complex problems, always with a customer first approach and an awareness of UX/UI considerations.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to proactively engage with customers and prospects to validate problems and proposed solutions, prior to development.
  • Produce documented user stories for QA, the UX/UI designers and development teams and work closely with them to bring the requirements to fruition.
  • Hands on team management experience.
  • Work with other departments to provide communication on sprint progress.
  • Own multiple product backlogs and keep them in priority order.
  • Actively participate in the sprint planning for the upcoming sprints and provide clarification of the backlog items to the teams.
  • Serve as a key point of contact to get clarification from clients.
  • Work in a consultant capacity with clients, promoting best practices when discussing problems and solutions.
  • Support members of the team by removing blockers.
Technical skills of a Senior Digital Product Owner
  • 2+ years experience as a product owner within a software organisation. Ideally with experience of mobile and web based solutions.
  • Highly organised, and able to self-manage multiple projects and activities in parallel.
  • Ability to take effective decisions within fast-moving Agile delivery.
  • Ability to set deadlines and manage yourself and others to achieve them.
  • You actively identify setbacks and roadblocks and generate solutions for resolving them quickly.
  • You have a knack for prioritisation and resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • You love facilitating workshops with stakeholders. Youre able to clearly define a value proposition and seamlessly articulate it.
