Job Description

Salary: £50,487 - £59,838 per annumJob Location: Manchester - Deansgate (Hybrid)Hours: 36 per weekContract Type: PermanentAre you looking for a new, exciting challenge Do you have experience working in property development financeWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Development Finance team in Manchester.What will you be doingIn a nutshell, you will be first point of contact for investment and finance related matters across all our Central and North schemes, for both private sale and affordable housing property development. Youll be responsible for building and maintaining strongrelationships between the Development and Finance Directorates.Other key duties include:

  • Leading on providing timely and accurate management reporting information for your scheme portfolio
  • Acting as the principal finance representative at monthly scheme progress meetings and influence scheme outcomes
  • Assessing the financial and commercial risks of investment proposals, applying sensitivity and scenario analysis, and identifying mitigating actions for risk management; and
  • Pro-actively supporting the regional Head of Development Finance & Analysis in reviewing commercial investment appraisals for proposed acquisitions, conducting financial due diligence, advising the Development team on deal structures, and drafting investmentpapers
What are we looking forWere looking for a qualified Accountant (or equivalent level of experience) with a thorough understanding of the UK residential property market and excellent analytical skills.You will come to us with prior experience in property development finance, ideally with experience of investment appraisal financial modelling for mixed tenure schemes. You will have excellent communication skills and should be confident dealing with multiplestakeholders, presenting financial information and influencing decisions.Where will you workThis role is based from our Manchester office and you will be required to work between the office and home in line with business needs.
