Job Description

Senior Desk Engineer

  • Manchester
    • An opportunity for a Senior Desk Engineer has been created for a leading company in its field. This is a permanent role and is based in Manchester. Essential skills and experience required:
  • Proven Leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Experienced in use and set up of a wide variety of BMS and Engineering Control Systems
  • Specific knowledge of Trend and Tridium BMS solutions
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise wide asset management systems with remote monitoring capabilities
  • Previous experience delivering energy optimisation programmes
    • Job responsibilities:
  • Setting team daily and weekly priorities and objectives
  • Conducting monthly 121’s for team members
  • Creating team rota’s to optimise the Service Operation Centre’s efficiency’s
  • Ensure governance is applied to all activities that may impact the company and its customers
  • Provide technical advice to company colleagues and customers
  • Consistently review operations for the Service Operation Centre
  • Introduce change that delivers continuous operational efficiency
  • Recognise issues, understand urgency and act quickly to resolve
  • Follow Group and company H & S policies and procedures at all times
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
  • Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager
  • Report actual and suspected security incidents
