Job Description

My Client is a specialist automotive company who are looking for a talented Senior Design Engineer to join their small,dynamic team as part of their expansion plans.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design systems and components with a focus on function, cost, manufacturing, assembly and quality.
  • Produce 3D CAD models using Solidworks (experience of other CAD packages also considered)
  • Lead Cross-functional design and approval management reviews.
  • Liaise with stakeholders
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Create plans and manage deliver of yourself and other team members
  • Provide guidance to other team members.
Qualifications
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline (Automotive, Motorsport, Mechanical, Aeronautical)
Experience:
  • Demonstrable experience in engineering design of components and subassemblies.
  • 3D CAD & FEA Analysis.
  • 2D technical drawings.
  • great understanding of motorcycle chassis layout and construction

  • Good communicator, clear and concise, with the ability to communicate with confidence
  • Flexible, able to travel to other work locations
