Senior Data EngineerREF: JA26Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 dependent on experience Location: ManchesterJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeJob Section: Professional ServicesExperience: 2 yearsContact: Joel AmbroseAn opportunity to work with some of the internet’s most exciting businesses as a Senior Data Engineer has arisen. We are currently looking for an experienced 3rd line Senior Citrix Engineer who can confidently provide incident investigation, root cause analysis and system optimisation. The Senior Citrix Engineer will have a detailed understanding of Citrix policies and Active Directory policies for a Citrix environment as well as acting as a point of escalation and technical mentor to more junior members of the team.Required Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of designing, implementing and maintaining server based computing solutions with Citrix XenApp/Xendesktop;
  • Good working knowledge of Citrix PVS and associated concepts;
  • Familiar with providing highly available solutions based on XenApp/Xendesktop components.
  • Continually review design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
  • Lead or assist in Citrix and infrastructure-based technology projects and tasks both client focused and internal
  • Ensuring configuration, change and event management processes, procedures and controls are implemented and adhered to.
  • Technical understanding of networking protocols
  • Understanding of Netscalers, MFA and storefront services
