Job Description

A Global Information Security Consultancy are looking for a Senior Cyber-Security Analyst to join their growing team of professionals to assist with their ever-expanding client list. Youll be responsible for the Incident response process for existing andnew clients.Senior Cyber Security Expert - Manchester£75,000 Per Anum (Flexible working)A Global Information Security Consultancy are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Expert to join their growing team of professionals to assist with their ever-expanding client list. Youll be responsible for the Incident response process for existing andnew clients.The Senior Cyber Security Expert will be responsible for:

  • The incident response process according to the Standard Operating Procedures, as well as providing recommendations to customers
  • Proactive threat hunting as well as a deep understanding of the evolving threats
  • Research to continually improve techniques and methodologies
  • Act as a point of escalation for security events for escalation and remediation
  • Take part in purple (red/blue) team exercises
The key skills and experience required:
  • Experience with the full incident response lifecycle and Kill Chain
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Linux forensic tools (Forensic Investigations)
  • Programming/scripting skills (Bash/PowerShell/Python)
  • Deep understanding of Reverse Engineering
  • Industry certifications (OSCP/CISSP/Certified Forensic exams)
This position is ideal for someone experienced in a number of different processes and technologies with a wide understanding of Incident Response, Remediation and forensic analysis.
