We now have an exciting opportunity for a SeniorCustoms Entries Coordinator based near Manchester Airport working for a worldwide freight forwarding company. With over 70 offices, 200 agents covering 5 continents we offer local expertise with global experience catering to each customers specific transportation and logistics needs.We are now recruiting for a Senior Customs Coordinator to handle import customs clearancesIn this position you will hold ultimate responsibility for the following duties / tasks:- Provide an outstanding level of customer service to both internal & external clients- Handling sea and air freight customs clearances.- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of import customs declarations- Ensure correct payment of duty & VAT- Manage the release of consignments at port- All aspects of CFSP & Customs Warehousing- Manage post clearance actionApplying candidates will possess:- Experience from working for a freight forwarder in an imports role- A broad understanding of the overall customs process- Knowledge of Import Clearance systems, ideally Data freight but any imports clearance skills are welcome Chief/ASM/CNS/Destin8/BoxTop - Extensive knowledge of the customs tariff- Excellent communication skills- Strong attention to detail- Exceptional IT skills- Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual- Strong organisational & time management skillsBenefits Salary £28,000 to £32,000Pension 23 days holiday rising with length of service Required skills
