Job Description

A SME services business based in Salford Quays is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to help them recover some aged debt. The role is temporary, full-time hours for a period of 4 months up until the end of January 2022. If you are looking for a challenge,they would like at least 50% of aged debt over 90 days recovering in 4 months. You will work closely and collaboratively with the Senior Management Accountant, the Finance Director, customers, the sales, and booking teams. There is also free parking on sitetoo.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reduce aged debt over 90 days
  • Resolve customer queries and address root cause of queries
  • Maintain over 85% collection of available debt each month
  • Monitor customer credit limits to mitigate risk
  • Improve the quality of the sales ledger
  • Build effective relationships with customers
  • Review aged debtors weekly with the Finance Director
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Sufficient experience at a senior level within Credit Control
  • Proven track record in reducing aged debt
  • Robust but polite with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-disciplined
  • Good IT skills
As Senior Credit Controller you will be challenged to reduce the aged debt, you will use your initiative to resolve historic invoice queries and work collaboratively with customers and internal teams. You will report very closely with the management team withinfinance including the Finance Director. You will receive a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, pro-rata, holidays are 24 days + bank holidays, pension is matched to 8%, and there is free on-site parking too.
