Job Description

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Senior Lawyer to join the Children and Families Legal team within Manchester City Council. The position will require to do advocacy, so hybrid working is available. More infomation below:ROLE: Senior Childcare Lawyer RATE: £50ph- £55ph BASED: ManchesterOFFICE: HybridThe Role/ Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will provide effective advice and representation on complex legal work and projects related to children and family matters.
  • Where appropriate, to demonstrate exceptional advocacy skills achieving the best possible outcomes for the client.
  • Works effectively and with minimum supervision, managing a caseload of complex, high value and sensitive legal work relating to public and private children law.
The Person
  • The successful candidate must be a fully qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX and have a current practising certificate.
  • Previous public sector working experience would be desirable
  • Great communication skills, written and oral.
