Job Description

Business travel consultant - Part time Evenings 5pm - midnightBusiness Travel Consultant Required for corporate travel business based from Home. Seeking an experienced business travel, corporate travel or tailormade consultant who has excellent flights, fares and GDS knowledge to work 5pm - midnight 3 or 4 evenings aweek with occasional (1 in 7) Saturdays to cover the companies ooh function. They will pay up to £28,000FTE + benefits for the right person.Business travel consultants duties

  • Manage any evening emergency calls for flight changes and reissues for clients, covering worldwide locations.
  • Book complex multisector flight itineraries as well as point to point, working with a variety of fares.
  • Maintain awareness of all airline rules and regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements.
Business travel consultant skills required
  • Experience in business travel, corporate travel or flights broker, handling clients travel , changes and cancellations
  • At least 3 years + experience in travel on a GDS ideally Galileo or Amadeus
  • Strong customer service skills, ability to handle time dependant changes and reissues
  • Ability to do your own mark-ups would be an advantage.
Other Info:
  • Seeking to cover 3 to 4 evenings a week and a Saturday rota which works out 1 in 7
  • Flexible on nights but will need to be set once job accepted
  • Hours 5pm - midnight
  • Work from home
  • Work is mostly covering flights , so expertise on these is needed to apply
