Job Description

This is a fixed term contract and we are recruiting Nationwide due to this being a remote role.   • Maintain and update the Risk Assurance Framework as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the legal and operations teams ensuring control frameworks are maintained and practice improvement plans are adhered to.
  • Provide oversight of the 1st line risk management activities including their adherence to the local risk framework.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine inherent risks and determine opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Undertake control testing and demonstrating adherence to, and appropriateness of, processes and procedures used within the practice
  • Contribute to internal communications and training to enhance awareness and understanding of risks and controls across the business
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting packs for Executive forums.
  • Lead quality improvement forums sharing practice information and communicating opportunities for improvement.
About You:
  • Understanding of the SRA regulatory framework or financial services regulation.
  • Experience of designing and managing control frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management experience is a must, along with clear communication skills (both written and verbal).
