Job Description

We are urgently seeking a Senior Acoustics Engineer in Manchester, to work for a reputable UK engineering firm.Requirements for this post are; relevant degree in Acoustics, suitable post graduate qualification - ideally an Institute of Acoustics diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control, Membership of the Institute of Acoustics, and up to date knowledge of regulationand guidelines.Duties-

  • Undertaking building acoustics assessments.
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues and other industry professionals.
  • Carrying out noise modelling.
  • Training junior members of staff.
  • Aiding with business development and providing technical expertise to win new projects.
  • Promote the company and its services to a wide range of clients.
  • Writing highly technical reports.
