Job Description

Page Personnel are currently supporting a successful business based in Cheetham Hill. The client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Offering lots of progression opportunities. This is a full-time office based position.DescriptionResponsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and preparing accurate financial statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Overseeing payroll processes using Sage Payroll and maintaining employee records.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and assisting with year-end audits.
  • Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Assisting with the implementation and improvement of financial systems and controls.
ProfileTo be considered for this role:
  • Experience within a Accountant role
  • Proficiency in using Sage50 and Sage Payroll software.
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) is desirable but not essential.
  • Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Build relationships with all levels
  • Positive attitude and used to working inclusively
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
Job Offer
  • Competitive salary of £36,000 per annum.
