Are you a trained SENDCo looking to work on a part-time basis Look no further for your next opportunity!A fantastic, Unique opportunity has presented for an experienced SENDCo to work on a part-time basis in a wonderful Church of England school in Audenshaw, Tameside. This is a part-time permanent role which will be 2 days a week and the school will pay acompetitive salary which reflects your suitability and experience.About the schoolThis Good rated school is led by an experienced Headteacher who is extremely dedicated to his role and proud of the community the school educates. The school is a very rewarding place to work with friendly staff, a supportive environment and warm ethoswhere everyone shares a vision to ensure children are happy, safe and learning through fun, memorable experiences.About the RoleAs the SENDCo, you be responsible for leading the strategic development of the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) policy whilst assessing, planning, and reviewing the effectiveness of interventions. You will liaise with families and outsideagencies to support best outcomes for children and must be an effective communicator and team player.The successful applicant will have the following:- Qualified Teacher status with relevant NASENCo qualification (or be willing to undertake it)- The ability to organise, lead and motivate staff and pupils- Good organisation and communication skills- Be highly motivated and committed to developing pupil potential- Be committed to working as part of a team and have a good sense of humour- Be able to adapt and respond to challenging situations- Be committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the school- Be committed to safeguarding all pupils.This important post will be filled by someone who has an inclusive philosophy, excellent leadership skills and is fully committed to the school community and its children.This truly Is a unique part-time leadership opportunity and one not to be missed!If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to excel in this SENDCo role, I would love to hear from you.
