Job Description

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children in a primary school in Burnage.This role includes:

  • Supporting key child in and out of class.
  • Engaging children in targeted interventions.
  • Following targets on key childs IEP.
  • Working closely with SENDco and class teacher to develop units of work and individualised support plans.
  • You may at times be asked to work with small groups to support social skills.
To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:
  • Have experience of supporting pupils in a school environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEND needs in the classroom.
  • Hold a valid DBS or be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks and have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.
