SEND Secondary SchoolHulme/Castlefield (walking distance from tram stop Deansgate/Corn Brook)Hours- Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.45pm A bit about the school and the role:The school are currently looking for the following role;1:1 in class support Supporting a pupil who is struggling to work in a static classroom environment. Your role will be to act as a mentor to get to the heart of the issue with the young person and come up with an action plan/targets to achieve to support them back in the classroom.This school deals with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Secondary age group KS3/KS4 all students have a statement for SEN needs due to behaviour or their additional learning needs.Key challenges are behaviour - this is an SEMH provision so staff must be able to manage anti-social behaviours. Non-judgemental approach is needed and empathy for the students whose behaviour is a form of communication
