Join our Special Needs team at Tradewind!If you have a Care or Residential Support Work background or youve worked as a as a Teaching Assistant supporting children with SEN before then this is your next role!We are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistantat a special needs high school in North Manchester, catering for young people aged 11-16 with Autism, Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, PMLD, and Complex Needs.Starting ASAP on a full time & long term basis. Could eventually go permanent for the right person.Excellent pay up to £12.85/hour, paid PAYE direct by Tradewind. We dont use umbrella payroll companies!

• SEN Teaching Assistant at a special needs high school in North Manchester.
• Starting in ASAP on a full time basis.
• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 8:30am-4pm.
• Wednesday 8:30am-5pm
• Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
• 40 min unpaid break each day.
• Approx. 35hrs per week.
• Pay up to £12.85/hour.
• Could eventually go permanent for the right person.

• You will need to support young people with care as well as education.
• You will be working in groups of no more than 8 pupils at a time.
• Some pupils require Personal Care including toileting, changing and personal hygiene.
• Some require Moving & Handling support with wheelchairs and hoists.
• Wide range of needs with groups arranged by needs and levels rather than just age.

• This is a special needs high school in North Manchester for young people aged 11-16 with Autism, Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, PMLD and Severe Learning Disabilities, SLD.

To join us and be successful in this North Manchester based SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

• Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one).
• Minimum of 2 professional references.
• Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
• Some experience supporting children or young adults with special needs.
