Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING school based in Longsight, seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. Position is to start as soon as possible and continue through on a long-term basis, with potential to go permanent for the right person.About the schoolThis Ofsted rated Outstanding school based in Longsight has a calm and inclusive presence, with knowledgeable staff throughout. They provide a range of learning opportunities for pupils so that they can develop their speech and communication, their socialskills and their physical skills, as well as the more formal skills of reading, writing and number.About the roleWorking as an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include supporting pupils on both a group and 1:1 basis, establishing productive relationships with pupils and acting as a role model, setting high expectations. You will assist with monitoringand assessing pupils work, while keeping high expectations of behaviour management.What you will need to succeedThe successful candidate will have recent and relevant experience working with children in either a paid or voluntary setting.
