Client Overview:We are currently partnering with a leading accounting, audit and advisory firm, and they are seeking an experienced and highly skilledSemi-Senior/Senior Auditorto join ever-growing audit teams in Manchester.Our client has rich history spanning over 150 years and they are committed to helping their clientele achieve lasting success. They are also a part of an international global network, meaning that not only will you be a part of a firm that can offer you unparalleledopportunities, but you will also be part of a global network of industry leaders.Additionallyour client does not have the capacity to sponsor candidates.Role Description:As a Semi-Senior Auditor/Senior Auditorwill be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and supervising junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and analyticalskills, and a desire to learn and grow within the firm.Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead audit engagements
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Review and analyse financial statements and internal controls
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Assist with business development and proposal writing
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in audit or accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
